I got this from my sister-in-law and it is a standard. Everyone loves it! We used it so much at church events that it became known as 'Monson Punch'. One of my most requested recipes! We made it for my niece's wedding and couldn't make it fast enough!

Ingredients | Mineral Water New Bottle Design

5 quarts water

3 cups sugar

2 tablespoons citric acid powder

1 tablespoon lemon extract

½ bag of ice cubes

3 lemon slices

Directions

Stir water, sugar, citric acid, and lemon extract together in a punch bowl until sugar and acid are completely dissolved; add ice and lemon slices.

Citric acid can be tough to find so make sure you have it on-hand prior to the event you want to make it for. Some grocery stores have it or can special order it. The internet is always a good source.
